The History of KeriCure Inc.
Dr. Kerriann Greenhalgh, Founder and CEO of KeriCure Inc., is committed to bringing an exceptional line of wound care products to the natural market. While earning her PhD in organic chemistry at the University of South Florida (USF), Dr. Greenhalgh became personally aware of a lack of effective over-the-counter products that were intended to keep people safe from infection in their minor injuries when her soon-to-be husband had a minor cut that got infected and required emergency surgery to save his hand. After this incident, She began envisioning a unique topical product for the skin that takes an innovative yet natural approach to wound care, combining nanotechnology with natural, soothing ingredients.
In 2012, after 2 years of R&D flushing out the perfect formula, Dr. Greenhalgh launched KeriCure Inc., a US-based small business. As a mother herself, Dr. Greenhalgh designed KeriCure’s unique formula to be a sting free, hypoallergenic solution to on the go wound care for parents in protecting their children’s everyday scratches and scrapes, as well as their own.
