Innovative Wound Care Company launches Series A Fundraiser of $2 Million

Tampa, Florida, July 8, 2014 – KeriCure products presents the first NATURAL Invisible Bandage, providing complete wound care solution appealing to all consumer channels including humans, pets, horses, and livestock.

The ever advancing KeriCure technology is a nanoparticle emulsion technology that provides unique, natural, safe and effective topical wound and skin care products never before seen on the market!

Invented by a PhD organic chemist from the University of South Florida, Dr. Kerriann Greenhalgh founded KeriCure after being personally affected by inadequate wound care available over the counter when her husband got a small cut on his hand that ended up getting a serious MRSA (resistant Staph) infection that required surgery to treat. After her husband almost lost the use of his entire hand from a simple cut, Dr. Greenhalgh became determined to bring effective wound care and protection against germs to people and their pets.

While other “liquid bandage” products use alcohols, acetones, and super glues to provide wound protection, KeriCure products harness the natural healing powers of WATER and a proprietary Polyacrylate polymer that Dr. Kerriann Greenhalgh designed to mimic the natural barrier properties of the skin while providing a comfortable germ stopping barrier.

In 2012, KeriCure had a successful Seed Round fundraise, and now after much growth and product line expansion, the company recently launched a Series A Fundraise that will allow the company to grow their market presence, launch second generation over the counter products, and launch vet and physician-exclusive product lines for post-surgical care, post-dermatological procedures, and other advanced wound care and skin condition uses.

“We have seen steady growth since the initial skin protectant products launched in June 2013,” says Kerriann Greenhalgh, founder and CEO of KeriCure “and are starting to see many exciting new opportunities for license/private labels on all fronts this year.”

The ever expanding product line currently consist of KeriCure’s on the go Skin Protectant and Natural Seal™ Skin Protectant for consumers, Tough Seal™ Liquid Bandage for Companion Pet Use and Champion Seal™ Liquid Bandage for the equine/livestock market.

Since 2013, this innovative Wound Care Company has set a strong foundation in consumer and animal markets and provides unlimited growth. Currently KeriCure products are sold online through their website, Rakuten and Amazon, and in approximately 1,200 retail stores, including Publix, Kroger, Vitamin Discount Centers, Richard’s Foodporium, and Earth Origins.
