How are KeriCure liquid bandages different from other liquid bandages on the market?

Our liquid bandage is the one effective, sting free spray that will seal cuts, scrapes burns and irritations of ANY SIZE! And best of all, it actually works! Not your average liquid bandage, our products are designed specifically to mimic the natural barrier properties of the skin to help protect minor cuts and scrapes from infection. When applied, the product forms a highly elastic film that can stretch, bend, and be pulled without losing its ability to provide complete coverage. Unlike most liquid bandages, our Invisible Bandage is water based and contains NO harsh chemicals, so it is safe for any age!

Do your products sting?

The only instances when the product may sting is on blisters or very shallow skin abrasions where exposure to water, or touching it at all, would sting. Our products do not cause a stinging sensation.

What is a Polyacrylate Polymer?

Polymer comes from the Greek words Polus (Many) and Meros (parts). Polymers can be naturally occurring or man made, and consist of many small molecules linked in a series to create one large strand. Polymers are typically organic, and come in a variety of shapes, sizes and names. Some well-known polymers include beeswax, cotton, plant rubber, all plastics & even DNA.
Polyacrylates are most commonly made using a method called emulsion polymerization. In organic chemistry, a polyacrylate is a class of acrylate polymers derived from the polymerization of acrylic acids and salts. Once formed they have the ability to absorb water hundreds of times its mass equivalent. They are noted for their transparency and resistance to breakage, and are used in a variety of plastics, as well as medical and dental procedures and implants.
Polymerization is the combination of many like or unlike molecules to form a more complex product of higher molecular weight to form Polymer.

Basically, a polyacrylate polymer is a large strand of molecules composed of many subparts or subunits. The specific strands we use in our KeriCure formulas are our own pure, proprietary blends that remain our “trade secret” for the ongoing success of our products and company!

Should we layer the product several times?
